This starting out to be a good day. I do not know how it will go this evening, because I have to take my aunt to her cousins wake and then the funeral tommorrow morning. But as long as GOD is with us it should make it easier on her and my father. I would just all of you to pray for the family of Dallas Raliegh that GOD will just draw them closer to him and that their time of grieving will not be a rough one.
Very tiring day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted in Uncategorized on March 15, 2009 by jmturnerThis has been a very good day, but in the same breath a very tiring day as well. I left my house at 9:30 this morning and just returnered home about about a little past 8 p.m.. I had to help my father and two other very great men at church finish up the project we were working for the past 2 weeks. Then my father asked me to clean the entire church. After I had finished that I had to put the lyrics to the songs we are singing in the morning on the computer. Well that is about all there is I am just to tired to add any more today.
Back Home From Bowling
Posted in Uncategorized on March 14, 2009 by jmturnerI just finished bowling and I am glad we only have 4 more weeks left. This has been a very long bowling season. Our team is kinda like the Bengals, we beat the teams we are not supposed to and lose to the teams we should beat. Unless you count tonite when we absolutely beat a team that we should have. We beat them pretty bad.
Just enjoying another good day
Posted in Uncategorized on March 13, 2009 by jmturnerSo far today has gone well. My youngest daughters teacher came to the house for a in home visit. They told Brenda and I that she was doing very well in pre-school. We knew she would, but it just takes her a while to warm up to other people. That will change and hopefully she will not be so shy when she gets older. I am so proud of her for adjusting so well to school. I also want to thank GOD for allowing her to have such wonderful teachers.
About Me
Posted in Uncategorized on March 13, 2009 by jmturnerAs some of you may know I am a CHRISTIAN who attends a great church in florence. Besides liking UK basketball and football, I love watching the Reds ,SF 49ers, and Nascar Sprint Cup Series. My favorite driver is #88 Dale Earnheardt JR.. I also kinda like Tony Stewart. Getting back to my faith, I am glad I am a follower of CHRIST and that some day I will be reunited with my loved ones in heaven. I have not always been the most faithful follower, but here recently,(about a year ago) I decided to follow Christ again, and I plan on continuing to follow Christ the rest of my blessed days on this earth. I have made some great christian friends, especially one in particular, Jay Metzger, who starting June will turn over control of the audio/video at the church to myself and another good friend of mine Scott Newman.
Cincinnati Reds Baseball
Posted in Uncategorized on March 13, 2009 by jmturnerWell it appears so far that Kentucky basketball team may not make the ncaa tourney. Well at least we will soon be watching the Reds on T.V. or listening to them on the radio. I hope they can do better than last year. But at least they are more fun to watch than the bunguls(I mean bengals).
Kentucky Wildcats Basketball

I have not been to pleased with the cats performace this year, but I think by next season with Patterson, and hopefully Jodie Meeks staying, they will be alot better next year. I do believe coach Billy Clyde Gillispie was the best choice for the job. We just need to give him a chance to see what he does when he finally gets his own recruits in.
Just getting started with this blog
Posted in Uncategorized on March 13, 2009 by jmturnerI just got home about 10:45 pm from small group meeting at my pastors house. I really love the whole small group thing. It is a way to get to know people at church. I would also like to say that I attend the most wonderful church in Florence, Kentucky. I have made some wonderful friends there, including a great pastor Steve Baker ,and Jay Metzger.
